Xcadia
A downloadable game
A game for the Commander X16 computer based on the ZX Spectrum game Arcadia.
This game can only be played on a real Commander X16 or in the Commander X16 Emulator.
To play
Use left and right on either controller to select difficulty.
Hold START to begin. The game will use whichever controller START is pressed on.
Shoot or avoid enemies!
Twelve unique waves of enemies.
New wave when the timer reaches zero.
New life every four waves.
Score line
TM = Timer SC = Score
LV = Level HI = High score
Difficulty
Easy - The level time is reduced to 50 seconds. (This can actual makes a couple of levels harder!)
Medium - The level time is set to 75 seconds.
Hard - The level time is set to 99 seconds and your ship will occasional fire automatically.

Install instructions
To install and use on a physical Commander X16
Unzip the download file and copy XCADIA.PRG, XCADIA.BIN and XCADIA.PAL to your SD card.
To play the game CD to the folder where you placed the files then run:
/XCADIA.PRG
RUN
To use with the emulator
Unzip the download file into the folder containing x16emu.exe.
To play using the keyboard to emulate a joypad run:
x16emu.exe -scale 2 -run -prg xcadia.prg
To play using a game controller run:
x16emu.exe -scale 2 -run -joy1 -prg xcadia.prg
